Aerostar composite parts
I am in production of composite parts for the Aero Commander's sister ship, the Ted Smith 1/4 scale Aerostar. The model was designed by Stan Burak with wood build-up construction. Plans and pre-cut parts are available from Laser Design Services. The accessory package as shown here includes rigid carbon fiber nose and main gear doors, fiberglass nacelles/cowls reinforced with carbon fiber strips, a fiberglass nose cone and baggage door, thermo-formed front windscreen, a thermo-formed nose cone landing light lens, and two clear sheets for the side windows. Price is $400 for the set.
